TESTIMONIALS

Dear Dr. Flo:

Over the summer one of our students attended your social and living skills for students on the move camp and Dr. Flo I have to commend you for whatever you did to turn this student around. All of the teachers were fearful that they would have the student in their class this school year and I was the unlucky one so I thought. I won’t say if the student is a male or female because I don’t want to identify the student but at any rate, there is a significant difference in the behavior. Before the student was disrespectful to everyone, a bully, unkempt, did not participate in any activity or classroom assignments and was angry all of the time.  Now the student is respectful, well groomed, pays attention in class, and participates even if not called upon. I pulled the student aside and asked what happened over the summer to make such a change in their behavior and the student said “my Mom said someone was sponsoring me to go to etiquette camp and I had to go or she was sending me away to live with my grandma. I went to the camp and the teacher Dr. Flo told me that I was very special and if I followed what she was going to teach me everyone would like and respect me and even look up to me if I showed them that I respect myself. She said that people treat you by the way you look and respond to them.” The student said that no one had ever given them respect. Then the student pulled out the workbook that was issued during the summer camp and said, “see Ms. D. it really works all you have to do is follow the guidelines and if you forget you can always email Dr. Flo and she’ll answer your question within 24 hours.”

Dr. Flo thank you for touching this student; as a teacher I am ashamed because the student was so disrupted in class I never saw the potential in this student until you taught the student how to shine and believe; the light is very clear. The entire Clark county school district could benefit from your method of reaching a student and the curricular that you teach prepares students for life skills that will benefit them in whatever direction they choose to take in life. Whoever would have thought that today this student is my student aid, tomorrow who knows where this leads or who they may become?

Hats off to you Dr. Flo

Dear Dr. Flo:

It was such a pleasure to sit through your seminar. All of the marine’s presence who had an opportunity to attend your seminar fully understood what you were saying. We can see clearly now how the importance of following protocol in our every day life will help us to develop our skills when communicating, socializing or even negotiating a contract with people from all walks of life. Thank you ever so much for the information and the detail workbook. I understand that you may be invited back to address the military wives auxiliary, which I will highly recommend to my wife. Dr. Flo thanks again.

Dear Dr. Gray:
I just wanted to thank you and your team for the students on the move etiquette program. Most of the students in the club are graduating students about to embark on real life situations. I just wanted to share some of the students comments with you.

Dear Dr. Flo:

I just wanted to thank you again for coming to our Brownie meeting today.
I would like to share a story with you. My daughter, Stephanie, also would like to thank you.  After we left, we went to McDonalds.  Because she used such good manners, the lady gave her 2 Happy Meal toys!!  It was a great lesson for Stephanie.  If you use good manners, people will respond in a positive way.

Sincerely,
 S.  C.

Dear Mrs. C.
It was a pleasure to meet you and Brownie Troop #271. The young ladies exhibited good manners that they obviously practice during their Brownie meetings. Thank you for sharing Stephanie’s Happy Meal story, it is a great lesson and she will be rewarded though out life if she continues to have good manners. I wish you and the girls much success during your cookie sales; they must remember to smile, introduce themselves, shake hands and say thank you and they will sell all of their cookies, I guarantee you.

Best of Luck,
Dr. Flo

Dear Dr. Flo:
Thank you so very much for speaking to our Christian Council for Young Men. You are so funny, we are still laughing and so are the young men. Dr. Flo I can’t believe the changes in how they wear their clothes, it’s almost like a miracle. When you demonstrated how President Obama would look if he wore his pants below the back door we thought that we would fall over. You certainly got their attention. I don’t believe that anyone has ever taught young men how to ask a girl out. You spoke their language when you asked them to demonstrate how they hit on a girl. Dr. Flo many of our young men in our Christian council group come from fatherless homes and they don’t have a male role model. They tend to immolate other boys and men that they see on a daily basis. Your workshop and workbook will help them tremendously. We thank for donating your time and giving each student a workbook. And we also want to thank you for the 100 ties that you got J.C. Penney to donate. Your demonstration on how to tie a Windsor knot was a great success. I am proud to announce that we now have tie Sunday on the third Sunday of each month, tied by your students. We are really looking forward to the Dining Skills version in the workbook and having you back to teach us. Again, that you so much, you are an angel sent by God.

Dear Hannah:

After attending Dr. Gray’s Outclass the Competition Etiquette Training my protocol staff demonstrated a sharp improvement in their confidence when hosting distinguished visitors to our base. Within days after her class we were able to host a luncheon for a high ranking foreign dignitary where all the finer points of etiquette were adhered to and executed beautifully. Dr. Gray de-mystified the previously intimidating art of fine dining into a science that can be practiced and used to ensure we follow the correct protocol when we host U.S. and foreign general officers, and high ranking government officials.
